A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...

THE BONZO DOG DOO DAH BAND The Alberts, The Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band And The Temperance Seven (Rare 1973 UK only 14-track compilation LP featuring a magical collection of 20s & 30s retro by the three kings of the genre in the sixties. What makesthis album extra special is that it's the ONLY place, apart from the extremely rare singles, that you can find on vinyl the first four released tracks by the Bonzos. These came out in 1966 on Parlophone, before the band released 'Equestrian Statue' on Liberty in 1967, and comprised the magnificent 'My Brother Makes The Noises For The Talkies' & the equally wonderful 'I'm Gonna Bring A Watermelon To My Girl Tonight', which was their first single, and 'Alley Oop' with 'Button Up Your Overcoat', which was the second. The icing on the cake is that, unlike the singles, these are true STEREO versions of the tracks! The unique front laminated picture sleeve shows just the lightest shelfwear in the non-laminated areas & the vinyl is in near mint condition - a fantastic copy of this overlooked at the time but now seen as a treasure chest album for less than the price of ONE of the original mono singles! SRS5151)

THE BEATLES 1962-1966 / 1967-1970 (Pair of original 1973 French limited edition double LP compilations, pressed on Red & Blue vinyl respectively. These first pressings can be identified via the slightly lighter shades of red & blue in the gatefold sleeves & also by the much deeper shade of these colours noticeable in the 'Tirage Limite' stickers compared to their '78 reissues. Complete with their colour codedlyric inners, the sleeves show just a little scuffing around the edges & each vinyl disc appears near mint)

ROY HARPER Lifemask (1973 Canadian 6-track vinyl LP on the green Chrysalis label, featuring re-workings of some of the songs from the soundtrack to the film 'Made', along with the mammoth 'The Lord's Prayer', including Brian Davison from The Nice on drums and guitar courtesy of Jimmy Page; picture sleeve with a deletion drill hole. The sleeve has some minor wear and the vinyl has some noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch, overall a very good copy. But what makes this copy nice I hear you ask, well it has been boldly Autographed by Roy Harper on the front in a black ball point pen, ideal to be put on display)
