A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...

KIM WILDE Love Is (1992 Japanese 11-track promo sample CD album issued to radio stations and reviewers ahead of the actual release date, includes Love Is Holy and Million Miles Away. Custom stamped inner rim on the disc and promotional stickered back insert, complete with picture sleeve, Japanese booklet and obi-strip MVCM-200)

Tracklisting: 1. Love Is Holy 2. Who Do You Think You Are 3. I Believe In You 4. Touched By Your Magic 5. I Won't Change The Way That I Feel 6. Million Miles Away 7. The Light Of The Moon (Belongs To Me) 8. Heart Over Mind 9. A Miracle's Coming 10. Try Again 11. Too Late
COLIN TOWNS Full Circle (Scarce 1978 UK green 'Two Virgins' label 9-track vinyl LP featuring the music from the soundtrack of the film, fully laminated picture sleeve. The sleeve shows just a little light shelfwear & the vinyl remains excellent &shows little sign of play V2093)

Tracklisting: Full Circle (Main Theme) 10:40 The Park Have You Got A Magnificent Problem? (Inside The Mental Home) 2:19 'Pretty Men Are Very Receptive' (The Seance) 3:15 Kate (Opening Sequence) 2:45 Olivia 4:50 Love Scene 3:22 'Magnus' - The Unwelcome Intrusion 3:53 Full Circle (Everything's Right Now) 7:08
HANK MOBLEY No Room For Squares (Bloody marvellous 1963 US 6-track mono LP on the 'New York USA' address label, with a deep groove on the second side label & a small 'R' logo under 'Note' both sides. 'Van Gelder' is machine stamped in the run-outof side 1 along with the 'ear' etching both sides. This is a classic from start to finish, arguably Hank's finest & certainly a Blue Note must have. Features either Lee Morgan or Donald Byrd on trumpet, Andrew Hill or Herbie Hancock on piano,John Ore or Butch Warren on bass and Philly Joe Jones drums, pasted picture sleeve. See 'more info' for condition... BLP4149)

Tracklisting: Three Way Split Carolyn No Room For Squares Me N You Up A Step Old World, New Imports Condition : - Obtained from a one previous owner collection, the heavyweight pasted sleeve is in great shape. The colours are still rich & vivid & all text is clearly legible, including along the spine. There is hardly any scuffing, with just a little bit along the bottom or top left corner. The back panel reveals some discolouring along the top but this is forgiveable. As a nice touch, there is a Mecolico royalty sticker for author's rights still attached on the back, which were affixed during export from the US. Very nice indeed. Labels :- This beautiful first issue copy was pressed just after "Blue Note Records" became an incorporated company & a registered trademark, hence the inclusion of 'INC' & 'R' lettering on the labels. The all important first issue 'New York USA' address is on both sides & there is a deep groove visible on the second side. The labels reveal hardly any spindle wear by the centre hole indicating very little play. Vinyl :- The 'Van Gelder' machine stamp is in the run-out on the first side, & the famous 'ear' etching can be seen in both run-outs. A combination of Van Gelder's sound engineering & Plastylite pressing is well & truly the 'golden age' of highest quality, Blue Note pressings. This one is no different & sounds unbelievably good! The heavyweight vinyl is super clean & reveals only some very faint cosmetic wear when held to the light in a few areas, which does not affect play. This really is a beautiful, Excellent condition example. Highly recommended & one of the Top 5 Blue Note albums for sure!
THE BEATLES The Fabulous Beatles Souvenir Song Album (Very hard to find 1963 UK 28-page softback music book featuring the music to 'Please Please Me' along with some wonderful band pictures and foreword by Tony Barrow. The book is fairly wellloved condition with some discolouration in places, guitar chords hand annotated inside and some minor creasing but it remains intact, complete and unbelievably charming. Photos inside include those of the band with 1962 haircuts, including Ringo, who was then still wet behind the ears. Not mint, no, but far from wrecked nd an absolute treat to see something like this from the dawn of Beatlemania)
