DANA GILLESPIE Box Of Surprises (Outstanding Female Psych Folk 1969 UK-only 12-track stereo LP on a dark blue & silver 'unboxed' label, one of the hardest Decca releases of the late sixties to track down. Backed by Savoy Brown & produced by Mike Vernon, this album adds some Blues & Mod punch to the mix, & includes the Eastern-tinged, I Would Cry & a number for David Bowie called 'For David, The Next Day' [the pair shared the same label & producer at the time & later collaborated].See 'more info' for condition details... SKL5012)

Tracklisting: A1 Box Of Surprises A2 Like I'm A Clown A3 Taffy A4 When Darkness Fell A5 For David, The Next Day A6 If You're Dreaming B1 Foolish Seasons B2 Grecian Ode B3 By Chasing Dreams B4 I Was A Book B5 Describing You B6 I Would Cry Condition :- Obtained from a vast collection of sixties & seventies LPs & forgotten gems that were sent to a former radio promoter, this is a wonderful find & in wonderful condition to match. The 'James Upton' sleeve is front laminated with the stereo/mono hole indicator on the reverse & complete with the original '8-69' dated, blue-bordered company inner. The cover artwork is a stunning design, with beautiful rich colours. The '1969' release year is annotated in the top right back corner. This is unobtrusive to the print & doesn't spoil the package. The sleeve remains in EXCELLENT condition with just a little faint ring wear or light ripling to the laminate, which remains tight & uncreased. The matrices read: ZAL-9015-P-1W/ ZAL-9016-P-1W There is no need for us to go on too much about the condition of the vinyl. Simply put, it is an absolute stunning NEAR MINT example. There are no marks on the labels, possibly played just once, twice, maybe not at all! Highly recommended.
THE CRAMPS Bad Music For Bad People (Rare 1984 US 11-track compilation vinyl LP comprising non-LP A & B-sides [some previously unreleased in the US], including the classics Human Fly and Garbageman, plus exclusive recording Uranium Rock. The sleeve has a little light edgwear and spine wear, but remains in excellent condition; the vinyl looks barely played SP700042)

LOUISE CORDET The Sweet Beat Of Louise Cordet (1963 UK 4-track 7" mono EP, featuring She's Got You, We Know Why, Everytime & Crazy Kind Of Love, front laminated flipback picture sleeve. The sleeve shows a little wear to the unlaminated back, with an area of paper loss where it was once tape sealed at the opening but the vinyl remains in excellent condition with little sign of play. A very acceptable copy at an advantageous price DFE8515)
