A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...

METALLICA Fade To Black (Rare 1984 US promotional only Black Vinyl 12" which plays the same track on both sides, die-cut Elektra company sleeve with a custom red & black 'The Friday Morning Quarterback Album Report' sticker on the front. The sleeve has only a few light storage creases but the sticker has not been affected, the vinyl is in 'near as new' condition showing very little, if any signs of being played with clean labels without any spindle marks. Although not as rare as the lime green vinyl issue this is still a very sought after item, with this in outstanding condition ED5044)
ROLLING STONES Rolling Stones No.2 (Scarce 1965 UK second issue 12-track deep groove mono LP, on the unboxed Decca logo 'ffrr' label, front laminated picture sleeve with 'blind man' text on the back LK4661)
See 'More Info' for further details on this forty yearold gem!

Tracklisting: The group's second British album actually appeared after their second U.S. LP, mostly owing to the fact that the British rock & roll audience wasn't focused on the long-player as a medium (singles and EPs were the driving force of the business in England then). It uses the same David Bailey cover shot that had graced the U.S issued '12 X 5' album two months earlier, but only four songs (Under The Boardwalk, Suzie Q, Grown Up Wrong and Time Is On My Side) overlap on the two albums. Rather, Rolling Stones No. 2 offered seven songs that weren't to make it out in America until four months later on 'The Rolling Stones Now!' It also includes one of the group's best blues covers, their version of Muddy Waters' I Can't Be Satisfied, which wasn't released in America until 1973 and features some killer slide playing by Brian Jones. The U.K. LP was originally released in mono only. Condition :- The sleeve shows just the lightest signs of creasing to the laminate at the edges but is otherwise in excellent condition, with a perfectly legible spine & unblemished print. The back of the sleeve is still a nice off-white with only the faintest signs of its age starting to show. Very nice. The labels are red with unboxed or open Decca logo and ffrr 'ear' logo, with the deep groove that was omitted from later pressings. There are several spindle marks around the centre hole to indicate a reasonable amount of play. The matrix numbers are machine stamped into the 'dead wax' areas. They are as follows: Side One XARL-6619-1A Side Two XARL-6620-1A The vinyl has just a few light cosmetic paper scuffs with very little lessening in sound quality, the labels have a few light spindle marks but still nice. All in all a very respectable EX-/EX+ copy at a great price. 01. Everybody Needs Somebody To Love 02. Down Home Girl 03. You Can't Catch Me 04. Time Is On My Side 05. What A Shame 06. Grown Up Wrong 07. Down The Road Apiece 08. Under The Boardwalk 09. I Can't Be Satisfied 10. Pain In My Heart 11. Off The Hook 12. Suzie-Q
FRANK ZAPPA Broadway The Hard Way (Official 1988 US 24-page 14" x 11" world tour programme, packed with photographs, lyrics, discography and more. Apart from a little light creasing on the cover this copy is in excellent condition)
KRAFTWERK Expo2000 (2000 German-only CD box set, produced exclusively for the exhibition in Hannover between 1st June & 31st October that year, containing an exclusive audio CD featuring four mixes of their specially commissioned tune plus a Windows/Mac CD-Rom with their Expo-Jingle for the event plus Expo-Logomotion audio-visual content. These discs are housed in a quad-fold, individually numbered, custom PVC folder designed by Qwer. Köln, & a 10" x 9" textured die-cut slipcase withnumbered tag sheet)
