THE BEATLES Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Limited Edition 1984 UK Nimbus Records Supercut pressing of the 1967 13-track stereo vinyl LP, mastered & pressed exclusively for readers of Hi-Fi Today magazine by Nimbus with 'Nimbus England' machine stamped in the run-outs. Limited to 1000 copies only, the Nimbus supercut of Sgt. Pepper has since gained legendary status within audiophile circles & is arguably the most sought after Nimbus title on the market today. Com
#Top 500 Greatest Albums Of All Timees housed in its original glossy gatefold picture sleeve with the custom gold hype sticker attached & intact 'cut outs' sheet enclosed. See 'more info' for details... PCS7027)

Tracklisting: Background: Nimbus Supercut LPs were released as mail order only releases for Practical Hi-Fi and Hi-Fi today magazine readers during the early 1980s. All Nimbus Supercut releases were available in limited quantities of around 1000 pressings per title, and as such, many are rarely seen for sale and are arguably rarer than releases from Mobile Fidelity, Nautilus, DCC, etc. Nimbus established the need for high quality vinyl pressings at a time in the eighties when most mainstream vinyl which was haphazardly mastered and pressed on poor quality recycled vinyl. In contrast, Nimbus Supercut releases were mastered from the the original master tapes, through an all valve mastering process, using no limiting, resulting in a high quality pressing as close as possible in sound to the original recording. For example, when bass moves from channel to channel on an LP, groove modulation is employed to reduce the movement of the stylus and this results in bass being centered more over both channels. Nimbus pressings are not limited, resulting in outstanding sought after pressings in all sonic departments. Nimbus also had the ICI company produce an extremely pure vinyl for the LPs, which has amazing frequency reproduction and is virtually noise free - similar in quality to the 'super vinyl' used on earlier Mofi pressings. Condition: Obtained from a one previous owner collection, the sleeve is outstanding with just a small scuff to the front at the top, otherwise minimal evidence of wear. The vinyl is Near Mint with no discernable sign of play. Currently highly in demand, this is an essential purchase for the hi-end audiophile collector. 1. Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band 2. With A Little Help From My Friends 3. Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds 4. Getting Better 5. Fixing A Hole 6. She's Leaving Home 7. Being For The Benefit Of Mr. Kite! 8. Within You, Without You 9. When I'm Sixty-Four 10. Lovely Rita 11. Good Morning, Good Morning 12. Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise) 13. A Day In The Life
