A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...

JOHN MAYALL Primal Solos (1977 Japanese-only 8-track vinyl LP featuring a spotlight on the guitar work of Eric Clapton & Mick Taylor, with side one recorded at London's Flamingo Club in April 1966 [also featuring Jack Bruce], a mere eight monthsbefore Cream's debut. The unique glossy picture sleeve shows very little evidence of wear and comes with the illustrated six-page lyric / biography insert plus matching obi-strip and the vinyl looks barely played GP-1075)

Tracklisting: A1. (Intro) Maudie 2:26 A2. It Hurts To Be In Love 3:19 A3. Have You Ever Loved A Woman 6:44 A4. Bye Bye Bird 3:48 A5. I'm Your Hoochie Coochie Man 3:53 B1. (Intro) Look At That Girl 6:47 B2. Wish You Were Mine 8:45 B3. Start Walkin' 7:50
THE BEATLES Let It Be (Incredibly rare 1970 UK 12-track LP box set also including the 160-page softback photo book 'The Beatles Get Back', packed with colour/B&W photos & text from the film, which was never sold separately, all housed in a superblaminated outer Garrod & Lofthouse picture slipcase box with 'Patents Pending' lettering. This copy is complete with the rare 'These Fine Albums' Apple Catalogue poster PXS1)
See 'More Info' for further details on condition ...

Tracklisting: Condition The Box: As expected, the slipcase box has weakened a little over time, with some chipping to the laminate at the corners & light scuffing at the edges. This is not excessive & the outside of the box still stands proud & looks the part. There is further weakening to the inner parts of the box, some creasing and small tears where the book sits in the recess, but this is the norm for this design of box and copies that have not shown any age distressing are almost mythical and very rarely seen these days. By no means mint, this is still a nice acceptable example. LP: The picture sleeve shows just light creasing to the laminate in places and a little minor wear. As with all first issues, the Apple on the rear of the sleeve is red. There are no rips or tears, all text is clearly legible & the condition is excellent or above. The labels have just a few light spindle marks, whilst the vinyl remains very clean with just a couple of very light hairline marks. The Book: This is also laminated on the cover. There is just a little scuffing to the edges, but again, nothing unreasonable. By some miracle, this is one of the few surviving copies where the pages have not detached from the spine. This is a known manufacturing fault that caused the vast majority of these books to quickly self destruct. This copy is intact and shows no creasing to the cover or defacing inside. The Poster: This measures 9½" x 16½" and is folded as designed, neatly at appproximately 12" to fit into the box. The heading [and alternate name for this poster] is 'These fine albums are available now on APPLE. You should have them.' The design features the fifteen Apple album releases up to that point in full colour, with catalogue numbers beneath so that you could rush back to your local shop & order the rest. With the designed fold, the top half has nine designs & the bottom half has the other six. This is in superb condition, free from holes or wear, with just a tiny nick at the top. Very few copies came with this poster insert & very few posters have survived the intervening years or remained with the box. A treat. Overall this is a superb condition copy with almost pristine contents. The box, as with nearly all of the boxes, has suffered some distress along the way but is intact and complete. You would do well to find many complete copies in better condition than this one and the price reflects the imperfect nature of the box, even though this is the de facto norm. A very nice copy indeed at less than half the price of the almost mythical 'Mint' copy. Tracklisting: 01. Two Of Us 02. Dig A Pony 03. Across The Universe 04. I Me Mine 05. Dig It 06. Let It Be 07. Maggie Mae 08. I've Got A Feeling 09. One After 909 10. The Long And Winding Road 11. For You Blue 12. Get Back
PINK FLOYD The Dark Side Of The Moon (1974 Japanese issue of the classic 1973 9-track vinyl LP, housed in the iconic gatefold picture sleeve comes complete with two large fold-out posters, a double sided postcard, a unique glossy illustrated thirty-two page booklet with band history, lyrics, discography & 1973 tour dates plus the a wonderful picture obi-strip and the vinyl appears in near 'as new' condition EMS-80324)

Tracklisting: A1. Speak To Me / Breathe A2. On The Run A3. Time A4. The Great Gig In The Sky B1. Money B2. Us And Them B3. Any Colour You Like B4. Brain Damage B5. Eclipse
