gem, including Girls & Boys, End Of A Century, To The End,
This IsALow and the classic title track featuring Phil Daniels.
Gatefold picture sleeve with original cover artwork, factory
sealed. Essential) #Top 500 Greatest Albums Of All Time
Tracklisting: Although Blur had long been recognised as one of the premier bands responsible for the reinvigoration of Britpop in the 1990s, it is 1994's Parklife that truly provided the template for the entire movement. At a time when Oasis were aping the sounds of their pub-rock heroes on Definitely Maybe, Blur drew from the legacy of the Kinks and Small Faces to create an album that's as English as a rainy Sunday in front of the gas fire.
Parklife is full of songs that find joy in the mundane, like "Girls & Boys" (a song about working-class holidaymakers in the sun) and "Parklife" (a day in the life of a cheeky, unemployed bench-sitter).
Witty, ironic and irreverent, Parklife remains one of those rare albums that sum up a specific place and time. Britain in the mid-1990s!

(Deluxe Edition 2024 UK/EU 4CD+Blu-Ray Disc in
Dolby Atmos box set, containing audio remastered
versions of the original album mix and the rare 1974 Greek LP
mix which featured considerably different mixes to the
original LP release. The Blu-Ray disc features a 96 kHz /
24-bit Dolby Atmos and 5.1 Upmixes and a stereo mix, all of
which were overseen by Vangelis. The Blu Ray also contains

television show Discorama from June 1972 featuring Vangelis
performing in the television studio and talking about the
album, now with English subtitles added. Housed inside a
lift-off lid picture box with original cover artwork, plus an
illustrated booklet with essays & interviews. Although
unsealed, the outer box remains in excellent condition with
only one of the disc showing ultra fine cosmetic marks that
would not impact playback in the slightest. Recommended)
Tracklisting: Originally released in 1972 by Greek band Aphrodite’s Child, ‘666 - The Apocalypse Of John’ is one of the most controversial, ambitious, exotic and lauded progressive rock albums of all time. Composed by Vangelis, with lyrics written by Costas Ferris, it is a conceptual double album that was hailed upon its release as “a work of stunning complexity and originality” and is the crowning moment in the career of Aphrodite’s Child, a group which also featured the outstanding talent of Demis Roussos (vocals, bass guitar), later an internationally renowned vocalist and solo artist, along with the gifted musicians Silver Koulouris (lead guitar) and Lucas Sideras (drums, vocals).
Featuring material such as ‘The Four Horsemen’, ‘Aegian Sea’, ‘Babylon’, ‘Do It’, ‘The Beast’ and ‘All the Seats Were Occupied’, this album’s renown has grown steadily over the decades, influencing successive generations of musicians.
The 4-CD / 1 Blu Ray set contains audio remastered versions of the original album mix and the rare 1974 Greek LP mix (which featured considerably different mixes to the original LP release). The Blu Ray disc features a 96 kHz / 24-bit Atmos and 5.1 up mixes and stereo mix, all of which were overseen by Vangelis. The Blu Ray also contains bonus video content of a 28-minute episode of the French television show Discorama from June 1972 featuring Vangelis performing in the television studio and talking about the album (with English subtitles added).
This set also includes a lavishly illustrated book featuring a new essay and original interviews with the band plus many previously unseen photographs that Vangelis sourced from his various archives around Europe not long before his sad passing in May 2022.
