A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...

IRON MAIDEN The Number Of The Beast (1982 Japanese 9-track LP, also including Total Eclipse which does not appear on the US or UK editions of the album, with fold-out Japanese/lyric insert, glossy picture sleeve & original discography obi-strip.The sleeve displays minimal wear and the vinyl looks barely played. Up the Irons! EMS-91034)

Tracklisting: 1. Invaders 2. Children Of The Damned 3. The Prisoner 4. 22 Acacia Avenue 5. The Number Of The Beast 6. Run To The Hills 7. Total Eclipse 8. Gangland 9. Hallowed Be Thy Name
ART BLAKEY & THE JAZZ MESSENGERS Mosaic (Rare 1963 US first press 5-track mono vinyl LP on the 'New York, USA' Blue Note label with machine stamped 'RVG' & the 'ear' pressing logo in the run off area, with Freddie Hubbard on Trumpet, Curtis Fuller on Trombone, Wayne Shorter on Tenor, Cedar Walton on Piano & Jymie Merritt on Bass. Comes housed in the original heavy duty pasted laminate picture sleeve with 'West 61st St' address on the back & company catalogue inner. See 'more info'for condition on this rare first pressing... BLP4090)

Tracklisting: Condition:- Sleeve:- Obtained from a one previous owner collection of jazz records, with many bought as exotic imports from the US at their original time of release, this is a wonderful collector's example. This sleeve appears Excellent with lovely clean edges & no splits or writing. The laminate is nice & sharp looking with no creases or fading to the colours on the front. There is a UK tax import sticker on the back which pinpoints the era. All text remains clearly legible & the spine reads perfectly, with a little natural age yellowing to the back slick forgiveable with age. Labels & run-out:- The important bit of the run-out area, along with the Rudy Van Gelder 'RVG' stamp, is the Plastylite 'ear' etching both sides. This tells you this is indeed a first Blue Note pressing before the company was bought out by Liberty in the late sixties. Confirming this is the original 'New York USA' address on the labels both side. The labels have no writing or tears & there is minimal signs of play around the spindle area. Vinyl:- The vinyl has been professionally cleaned & remains in Excellent condition. Sound quality is exceptional & there are no marks or scratches. On close inspection, you can see a few faint paper hairlines either side when held to light in no way affecting play. Completing the package is the original Blue Note catalogue inner, which exhibits some minor splitting at the sides due to its thin paper structure but just try & find a better one! All in all, a wonderful collector's example that comes highly recommended. Tracklist:- Mosaic Down Under Children Of The Night Arabia Crisis
JOE HARRIOTT & JOHN MAYER Indo-Jazz Suite (1966 UK first issue 4-track MONO vinyl LP featuring a double Quintet under the direction of Mayer for one of the earliest East meets West experiments in jazz. The front-laminated flipback picture sleevehas the name of a previous owner carefully written on the unlaminated back in blue ink along with just a little age foxing while the vinyl displays only light signs of play for its fifty plus years! SX6025)

Tracklisting: A1. Overture A2. Contrasts B1. Raga Megha B2. Raga Gaud-Saranga
