The JAMS released their debut album in 1987 called What The Fuck's Going On? continuing their pioneering work with sampling technology, mixing snatched sequences from TV clips & other artists records with their own rhythms, beats, breaks and lyrics. The music press loved it but one of the tracks caused the
MCPS to insist the album be withdrawn and destroyed. The track in question, The Queen & I, had heavily sampled ABBA's song Dancing Queen. ABBA refused to consent to its use and even refused to meet Bill and Jimmy when they drove to Stockholm to discuss the matter.
Condition
The sleeve [VG+] displays some general storage wear including light edge scuffing, ringwear, a slight corner crease and minor storage marks.
The vinyl [VG] does have some notable scuff marks, hairlines and axial wear, but plays through, with only a little background noise.
A very respectable copy of this now hard to find original pressing.
