A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...

BLIND FAITH Blind Faith (1969 UK second issue 6-track vinyl LP, on the red Polydor label which has a raised ring towards the outer edge of the label along with a larger circled 'P' next to the date, housed in the controversial nude girl gatefoldpicture sleeve. The matt sleeve displays some light general wear mostly to the edges, whilst the vinyl remains EX- with just a few light surface hairline marks, making an ideal play copy)

Tracklisting: 1. Had To Cry Today 2. Can't Find My Way Home 3. Well All Right 4. Presence Of The Lord 5. Sea Of Joy 6. Do What You Like
THE IVEYS Maybe Tomorrow (Incredibly rare original 1969 Japanese Apple label 12-track stereo LP pressed on 'Everclean' RED VINYL by Toshiba Musical Industries. Highly sought after by collectors, the UK release waswithdrawn prior to its July 1969 release date & only issued in parts of Europe & Japan, pasted picture sleeve complete with four-page insert AP-8719)
**See 'More Info' for further details on this amazing rarity**

Tracklisting: 1. See-Saw, Granpa 2. Beautiful And Blue 3. Dear Angie 4. Think About The Good Times 5. Yesterday Ain't Coming Back 6. Fisherman 7. Maybe Tomorrow 8. Sali Bloo 9. Angelique 10. I'm In Love 11. They're Knocking Down Our Home 12. I've Been Waiting This album is legendary for many reasons - it was originally scheduled for release on 4th July 1969, however the UK release was withdrawn along with SAPCOR 7 which was going to be the Delaney & Bonnie album until released on Elektra/Atlantic. The number was reassigned to the Trash LP, but this too was withdrawn. The band then changed their name to Badfinger and after recording a McCartney demo and other songs for the 'Magic Christian' soundtrack enjoyed limited success. Despite being nearly forty years old the vinyl remains in Near Mint condition with a beautiful 'just pressed' lustre. The matrix numbers have been machine stamped into the 'dead wax' area: Side One SAPCOR-8A Side Two SAPCOR-8B The labels are the familiar Apple design with regular sliced and unsliced sides and 'Mfd. By Toshiba Musical Industries' text. Both the AP-8719 and SAPCOR 8 catalogue numbers are printed on the labels. The labels are near 'as new'. The full colour pasted picture sleeve has the Apple logo, AP-8719 catalogue number and stereo symbol printed on the front with a brief biography by Derek Taylor on the reverse. The original four-page insert is enclosed. It features a black and white photo of the band, tracklisting, Japanese text biography and notes on the recordings, plus English lyrics. The insert is Near Mint, complete with the one-sided die-cut jet black company inner. Note: the cover grades a firm VG+. There is some evidence of very light discolouring in the bottom corners, mostly visible on the back slick. Other than that, there is no writing & just some very mild fracturing to the paper in parts of the spine, with all print clearly legible. Overall, this is essential for collectors of The Beatles, Badfinger and Apple, & almost impossible to find regardless of condition. That it is an investment grade piece is just the icing on the (apple) cake!
JIM SULLIVAN U.F.O. (2020 US 10-track Light In The Attic remastered LP reissue of the ultra rare 1969 private press psych-folk-rock masterpiece, now pressed on trippy DESERT SUNSET coloured vinyl. Factory sealed inside its obi-wrapped gatefold picture sleeve - a lost gem! LITA054)

Tracklisting: 2020 reissue of the ultra rare 1969 private press psych-folk-rock masterpiece - featuring the legendary Wrecking Crew (Beach Boys, Phil Spector). * Housed in a gatefold jacket. In March 1975, Jim Sullivan mysteriously disappeared outside Santa Rosa, New Mexico. His VW bug was found abandoned, his motel room untouched. Some think he got lost in the desert. Some think he fell foul of a local family with alleged mafia ties. Some think he was abducted by aliens. By coincidence - or perhaps not - Jim's 1969 debut album was titled U.F.O. Released in tiny numbers on a private label, it too was truly lost, until Seattle's Light In The Attic Records begun a years-long quest to give it the full release it deserves - and to solve the mystery of Sullivan's disappearance. Only one of those things happened. For record collectors, some albums are considered impossible to get hold of, records so rare you could sit on eBay for years and not get a sniff of a copy. U.F.O. is one of those albums. A seventh son, Jim Sullivan was a West Coast should-have-been, an Irish-American former high school quarterback whose gift for storytelling earned him cult status in the Malibu bar where he performed nightly. Sullivan was always on the edge of fame; hanging out with movie stars like Harry Dean Stanton, performing on the Jose Feliciano show, even stealing a cameo in the ultimate hippie movie, Easy Rider. U.F.O. was a different beast to the one-man-and-his-guitar stuff Jim had been doing on stage; instead, it was a fully realised album of scope and imagination, a folk-rock record with its head in the stratosphere. Sullivan's voice is deep and expressive like Fred Neil with a weathered and worldly Americana sound like Joe South, pop songs that aren't happy - but with filled with despair. The album is punctuated with a string section (that recalls David Axelrod), other times a Wurlitzer piano provides the driving groove (as if Memphis great Jim Dickinson was running the show). U.F.O. is a slice of American pop music filtered from the murky depths of Los Angeles, by way of the deep south. With no music industry contacts, the record went largely unnoticed, and Jim simply moved on, releasing a further album on the Playboy label in 1972. But by 1975, his marriage breaking up, Jim left, for Nashville and the promise of a new life as a sessioneer in the home of C&W. That's where it gets hazy. 1 Jerome 2 Plain As Your Eyes Can See 3 Roll Back The Time 4 Whistle Stop 5 Rosey 6 Highways 7 U.F.O. 8 So Natural 9 Johnny 10 Sandman
DOGGEREL BANK Silver Faces (1973 UK 14-track vinyl LP, large 'Madhatter' label, laminated gatefold picture sleeve with lyrics/pictures on the inner spread. Seldom seen Charisma label release that offered a quirky take on prog and psych with a slightly Bonzo Dog feel throughout. The sleeve on this copy shows very little wear and the vinyl appears near as new CAS1079)

Tracklisting: A1 Introduction (A Line) A2 Industrial Estate A3 Down On The Farm A4 Chairman's Speech A5 Who's That Man? A6 Passacaglia A7 Palaces Of Fun B1 Lullabye B2 Scaffolding Is In B3 Cake Walk B4 Processional B5 Boardroom Reel B6 Silver Faces B7 Finale
