A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...

FRANK ZAPPA Specialized Digital Audio Gratification (Rare 1988 UK 15-track promotional CD sampler featuring tracks selected from '79-84, unique custom picture sleeve. All are unique mixes, quite different from the album versions as they have practically no right channel information, seemingly having been 'comb-filtered' into pseudo-stereo from the one channel. This may have been part of Frank's dissatisfaction with the 'sound quality' of the EMI releases, leading him to move to Ryk

The sleeve is graded as EX with just a little light storage wear, whilst the vinyl looks barely played)

EMMYLOU HARRIS Gliding Bird (Country Folk Psych 1969 US 10-track promotional stereo LP, the stunning debut album by the female singer, with custom black on white labels with 'DJ Copy - Not For Sale' print & a unique blue-tinted pasted picture sleeve. This is a rare album to acquire. Not only does Emmylou disown the record, citing Pieces of the Sky as her first "official" album, but the small folk label this was released on, Jubilee, filed for bankruptcy within weeks of its release. The matrices in the run-outs are machine stamped along with the official 'bell sound' etching both sides, meaning this is not a counterfeit copy. The cover shows only very gentle age wear & despite a faint sticker mark on the labels, the vinyl appears Near Mint with few signs of play JGS-8031)

Tracklisting: 1. I'll Be Your Baby Tonight 2. Fugue for the Ox 3. I Saw the Light 4. Clocks 5. Black Gypsy 6. Gliding Bird 7. Everybody's Talkin' 8. Bobbie's Gone 9. I'll Never Fall in Love Again 10. Waltz of the Magic Man
