Mother's Hymn Book features gospel songs Cash first learned
from his mother as a child, whilst the final disc is a best of
distillation of the first four American albums. The discs are
housed inside a hessian hardback book with integral booklet
& embossed lettering, complete with a 104-page hardback
booklet with matching finish & textured & pasted outer
slipcase. The packaging shows minimal wear & the discs are

Tracklisting: The matte sleeve was there to protect the vinyl and indeed it has done just that, but has suffered a bit as a consequence.
There is a fair bit of edge & corner scuffing evident, with some additional scuffing in places although the Hipgnosis design is still striking.
Inside the gatefold is pretty much unspoiled.
The album is a first issue on the 'Large Swirl' label with 'VERTIGO' at the bottom.
The vinyl shows only light signs of play, with what few surface scuffs there are visible only upon very close inspection.
Not mint, no, but an acceptable play copy at a very advantageous price.
