A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...

THE WHO My Generation (Extremely Rare & Desirable 1966 Japanese first press 12-track deep groove STEREO LP, on the dark blue & silver Decca label with 'Made By Teichiku Records Co.' perimeter text. Comes housed in the legendary & unique silk laminated 'girl cover' sleeve with scalloped flipbacks, illustrated lyric insert & the original printed clear inner bag. This alltime Mod classic was released on 3 December 1965 by Brunswick Records in the United Kingdom, but we know in the United States, it was released on 25 April 1966 by Decca Records as The Who Sings My Generation, with a different cover & a slightly altered track listing. A little known Japanese version was also released in '66, with a slightly altered tracklist & a beautiful unique cover found here. Never before seen, see 'more info' for condition details on this ultimate Who rarity... SDL-10271)

Tracklisting: A1 My Generation A2 Please, Please, Please A3 It's Not True A4 The Ox A5 The Kids Are Alright A6 Instant Party B1 A Legal Matter B2 Out In The Street B3 I Don't Mind B4 The Good's Gone B5 La La La Lies B6 Much Too Much Condition :- Very little is documented among Who fans & collectors regarding this unique 'girl cover' design. This is the first time we have stocked an original pressing. It is near impossible to find these days in any condition. The sleeve grades VG+. There is nothing that spoils the lovely colour design. There are some crease marks from ring wear & scuffing to the paper in the corners. Due to the flimsy design, there are a couple of tiny paper splits caused by the kind of thumbnail pinch marks that occur in the spine when the paper stock is so light. & the edges do reveal some minor age wear. All text is clearly legible, despite a 2" paper split in spine's centre. This example will still look fantastic on a shelf & clearly identifiable. Some of the ring wear is evident on the back & there is a light 'circle' annotation by the track numbers. All text remains clear & vivid, including the original 'Made By Teichiku Records' print at the bottom along with the '1,800' yen price point. There is no writing. This stunning & colourful cover is worthy of framing & really yells 'sixties'! Some foxing is noticeable on both sides of the insert & there are no tears or writing. The labels have no tears or writing & there are some spindle marks around the centre hole to show play. The vinyl is heavyweight & a high quality Decca pressing. Both sides have a deep sheen & grade Excellent. On close inspection, the amount of play is revealed to be very minimal & there are no scratches or marks. Highly recommended.
THE CURE Pure Cure Compilation (Rare and official 1992 Canadian 14-track promotional-only retrospective CD featuring classic Cure tracks and issued to reintroduce the band's back catalogue to Canadian media.
