A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...

BLUR The Great Escape (UK/EU limited edition 15-track double album 2-LP, a welcome repress of their 1995 fourth studio album, remastered and pressed on 180-gram Vinyl. The first Blur album to crack the US charts, as well as goingtriple platinum in the UK. Including the singles Country House, The Universal, Stereotypes and Charmless Man. Glossy gatefold picture sleeve with original cover artwork, factory sealed)

Tracklisting: The black sheep of Britpop, the straw that broke Graham Coxon’s back, few documents of mid-90s pop excess are quite as polarizing as Blur’s fourth studio album. It wasn’t always thus. The album’s September 1995 release saw NME award the record 9/10, Q gave it perfect marks, while Melody Maker broke their rating scale to score the record a wacky 12/10. It was critical euphoria that would prove to be short-lived – truth be told, about as long as it took publishers to realise Oasis would probably shift more magazines for them. It’s not a record the band think particularly fondly of either. In 2007, Damon Albarn mused that it was "messy". Coxon, meanwhile, is unavailable for comment, perhaps on account of still being traumatized from being made to straddle a pig in the Country House video.-James McMahon Side One 1. Stereotypes 2. Country House 3. Best Days Side Two 1. Charmless Man 2. Fade Away 3. Top Man 4. The Universal Side Three 1. Mr. Robinson's Quango 2. He Thought Of Cars 3. It Could Be You 4. Ernold Same Side Four 1. Globe Alone 2. Dan Abnormal 3. Entertain Me 4. Yuko & Hiro
THE WILDHEARTS P.H.U.Q. (2023 UK limited edition reissue of the 1995 19-track double LP, pressed on high-quality vinyl. The band’s second full-length album, P.H.U.Q., saw The Wildhearts expand their hard rock/punk blueprint with more ambitiousarrangements and soaring melodies. Includes the anthemic singles I Wanna Go Where The People Go, Just In Lust, Sick Of Drugs and Red Light – Green Light, alongside deeper fan favourites like In Lilly’s Garden and Getting It. Housed in a deluxetri-fold gatefold sleeve with two custom picture inner sleeves. The sleeve shows only the lightest traces of edge or corner wear, while the vinyl appears barely played and remains in stunning Near Mint condition)
