JACKIE EDWARDS By Demand (Original 1966 UK white Island label
12-track MONO vinyl LP. A rare chance to own this classic Jamaican/
Northern soul crossover album including I Feel So Bad and the original
version of Somebody Help Me, later a number one hit for The Spencer
Davis Group. This exciting find comes from the vast personal archive
collection of a former music reviewer and journalist and has been
locked away in storage for more than 30 years. The front laminate
flipback picture sleeve has a slight crease to one of the corners and a
2'' seam split along the top, yet despite these flaws it still looks
outstanding, with secure flipbacks, a clearly legible spine and the print
as bright and vivid as the day it was made. Better still, the vinyl [NM]
is as close to perfection as you're likely to find! A lovely copy of this
highly desirable item ILP940)

JACKIE EDWARDS I Feel So Bad (Monster Jamaican/Northern
Soul 1966 UK 7" mono single on the rough textured red &
white Island label with 'flaming sun' logo & 'Cambridge Road'
address, also featuring I Don't Want To Be Made A Fool Of.
The four-prong centre is firmly intact. The labels are clean
with no writing or tears & there are two very faint & small
circular sticker residue marks on the A-side label of little
consequence. The vinyl remains clean & plays through
beautifully with no distortion. The sound quality is majestic &
we can instantly hear the appeal, with both sides arranged by
Syd Dale. Under a bright light, there are just a few ever so
faint & very small paper hairlines which do not affect play.
The disc remains a stunning VG+/EX- condition example,
which is a conservative grading as it really does appear
practically near mint. We are proud to bring this one to the
market & naturally comes highly recommended WI-3006)
