smooth Trojan label, front laminated picture sleeve. Great
collaboration originally released in 1967 and featuring lovely
soulful R&B covers of Fats Domino, Ivory Joe Hunter
alongside some self-penned tunes. The sleeve is Very Good
with just a little light wear [one small area of paper loss on
the reverse], the vinyl is Excellent with just faint hairlines

press 12-track MONO LP on the pink Island 'eye' logo label,
arranged by Syd Dale & including a version of The Rolling
Stones' 'Back Street Girl'. Comes housed in the original matte
flipback picture sleeve with photography by Gered Mankowitz.
The delicate sleeve [VG+] is nice & clean with just a little edge
wear scuffing [1" paper fracture on spine], with no writing & all
print legible. The vinyl is clean & in Excellent to NearMint
condition with few signs of play. Recommended ILP960)

mono LP on the textured Island label with the earliest London
address label design, produced by label boss Chris Blackwell
with musical direction from Syd Dale, housed in a front
laminated flipback picture sleeve. The sleeve displays some
general wear/creasing & signs of age, with just a little light
ringwear to the non-laminated back & some light foxing. The
labels remains very clean with only a few light spindle marks,
whilstthevinyl shows just a few light cosmetic paper scuffs
and minimal signs of play. An excellent example of this early
Island release! ILP931)

Soul 1966 UK 7" mono single on the rough textured red &
white Island label with 'flaming sun' logo & 'Cambridge Road'
address, also featuring I Don't Want To Be Made A Fool Of.
The four-prong centre is firmly intact. The labels are clean
with no writing or tears & there are two very faint & small
circular sticker residue marks on the A-side label of little
consequence. The vinyl remains clean & plays through
beautifully with no distortion. The sound quality is majestic &
we can instantly hear the appeal, with both sides arranged by
Syd Dale. Under a bright light, there are just a few ever so
faint & very small paper hairlines which do not affect play.
The disc remains a stunning VG+/EX- condition example,
which is a conservative grading as it really does appear
practically near mint. We are proud to bring this one to the
