A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...
 | NEIL YOUNG Harvest (UK/EU limited edition 10-track black vinyl LP,
#4 in the Neil Young Archives Official Release
Series. Remastered by Chris Bellman from the original analog
master tapes, this edition honours the sonic warmth and integrity of
one of Young's most enduring and emotionally resonant works. A
monumental release in 1972, Harvest includes the
Gold-certified No. 1 single "Heart Of Gold," the introspective hit "Old
Man," and the stark acoustic anthem "The #Top 500 Greatest Albums Of All TimeNeedle And The Damage
Done." While it leans into mellow country-folk on tracks like "Out On
The Weekend" and the title song, the record's edges are sharply
defined by the electric fire of "Alabama" and the orchestral grandeur
of "A Man Needs A Maid," featuring the London Symphony Orchestra.
Far from being a simple rustic retreat, Harvest brims with
undercurrents of tension, vulnerability, and reflection - a contrast
made all the more poignant by Young's own physical pain during its
recording. The result is a record that continues to resonate across
decades, earning its place among Rolling Stone's "100 Greatest
Albums of All Time.". Housed inside a meticulous recreation of
the original rough-textured gatefold sleeve, hype sticker & factory
sealed. Recommended)

 | DR STRANGELY STRANGE Heavy Petting (Rare 1970 UK first issue
11-track stereo vinyl LP on the large Vertigo 'swirl' label, the group's
second long-player expertly produced by the great Joe Boyd, housed
in a unique & unusual fold-out die-cut picture sleeve designed by Roger
Dean with lyrics scattered about on the inside & on the reverse.
See 'more info' for condition details...)
Tracklisting: Condition
The sleeve is a striking forest green & the Roger Dean artwork still looks amazing. The fragile die-cut sleeve normally found in very worn condition has survived remarkably well and is graded Very Good, with just some edge scuffing in places. The delicate die-cut sections have just two areas of wear [with just a tiny split to one part], the rest remaining surprisingly free of damage.
Complete with the poly lined swirl inner.
The labels are clean with no tears or writing, with a few spindle marking by the centre hole to show play.
The matrices are machine stamped in the run-outs & end 1Y/1 / 2Y/1.
The vinyl has been professionally cleaned on a Matrix machine and is graded VG with a few faint paper hairlines and the occasional light scratch both sides but these cannot be felt & do not affect play. A spot of background surface noise may be detectable in the quieter sections but otherwise this is a very pleasing example & thus comes highly recommended.
