U2 Gloria (Extremely rare 1981 Dutch original 2-track wide-centred 7" vinyl single, also featuring a live version of 'I Will Follow'. Unlike the UK 'mirror' colour picture sleeve, this Dutch release was housed in a unique picture sleeve utilisingthe main image in black & white with a red edge border & 'From the album October' text. This spectacular rarity does not often appear for sale!)
See 'More Info' for condition details...

Tracklisting: These don't turn up everyday! There are some great 'foreign' sleeves for U2's single releases and this one is no exception. Unlike the UK issue, Holland chose to release 'Gloria' with a different alternative black & white picture sleeve variant. As with many European picture sleeves this is manufactured from thin paper stock and they seldom appear in Mint condition - usually falling into the 'wrecked but rare' category, full of creases, seam splits and the previous owner's name written on the cover! Thankfully, this copy has been well cared for. The vinyl is near mint with just very minor hairline surface marks that are only visible on very close inspection. The all-important sleeve is in superb condition. There are NO seam splits, the edges are intact and the corners strong. The black & white image is in great shape. The paper stock used was matte and shows creases & marks very easily - on close inspection some minor wear is evident, but it would be impossible not to display these after 40+ years. The white background shows minimal ringwear from the record impression whilst inside the sleeve. In fact, if you can find one at all, let alone in better shape than this, you're doing well - this is only our 3rd copy in over 30 years!
BILL BRUFORD Seems Like A Lifetime Ago 1977-1980 (2017 UK limited edition Eight Disc (6-CD/2-DVD) box set, contains previously unreleased, remixed, or remastered material from the Bruford band of the late 1970s. Also contains two black & white 10" x 8" band photos, an A3 size colour poster accompanying 'ive at the Venue', and an individully numbered certificate of authentication signed by Bill Bruford, all housed in a 12" square black box with silver foil embossed detailing on the lid)

THE BEATLES 20 Greatest Hits (1982 UK 20-track vinyl LP compilation, housed in a non-barcoded picture sleeve complete with round-cornered montage inner. This copy has a 'manufacturers property not for sale' sticker on the reverse. The sleeve shows light wear and the vinyl appears barely played PCTC260)
THE BEATLES Yellow Submarine (Rare 1969 UK first press 13-track stereo vinyl LP on the dark green Apple label with 'Sold in the UK' text, front laminated flipback picture sleeve with red lines above and below rear liner notes, and without theGarrod & Lofthouse printers credit on the bottom flipback PCS7070)
Please see 'More Info' for full details ...

Tracklisting: More Information The covers were manufactured by Garrod and Lofthouse, and are front laminated tri-flipback design, with the stereo covers printed with PCS 7070 and "stereo" in the upper right corner and red lines above and below rear sleeve notes. On the lower flipback of the original first press, there is no credit for 'Garrod & Lofthouse' as the sleeve printer, but on second press (still with red lines) it does state "Printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. Patent No. 943,895". At the bottom left of the back cover, the old Apple mark, which looks like a drawing, and the word "APPLE RECORDS" was printed. The labels are the dark green apple design, with "Sold in U.K ..." text located on top and "("An E.M.I. Recording")" text located on the left. Label have "("An E.M.I. Recording")" text on two lines. The left-hand side of the label has "33 1/3", "Mfd. in U.K.". The publishing year is printed with a small copyright symbol (p). The matrix numbers are YEX 715-1 YEX 716-1 Condition The front laminated flipback picture sleeve is really nice. The front of the sleeve has crisp, clean undamaged laminate, with just a little light creasing to the laminate at the opening corners. The top and bottom edges are sharp with just light wear. The unlaminated rear of the sleeve has not suffered a great deal at all from the defects so commonly found in '60s originals such as staining or writing, and shjows only the lightest shelfwear. The labels are bright & clean with no writing or other imperfections, and no obvious spindle marks around the centre hole. The black die cut paper inner appears to be original. The vinyl remains in wonderful condition with very few signs of play and no more than the lightest paper scuff to show for over fifty years. A really nice example of the rare first pressing.
