unfolded uncut thick card printer proof for the vinyl LP front
and reverse sleeve as well as the inner vinyl bag sleeve. All
with registration and proofing bars, the outer sleeve
measuring25"X 13" and the uncut inner measure 25" x 14".

rare 1988 UK unfolded uncut paper printer proof artwork for
both the original ROUGH TRADE issue Cassette and Compact
Disc. Measuring 25" x 18" this item is of particular note in that
theartwork for the Rank Cassette and Compact Disc differs
from the finished release; here the middle image is bright
yellow instead of light brown. Also included is an unfolded
five-panel cassette inlay for the finished release in Mint
condition.Aside from one small crease to the top right-hand
corner the item shows no sign of wear - Another top Smiths
rarity that would take pride of place in any collection and
would look stunning framed!

THE SMITHS Promotional Poster (Very rare official 1985 UK
Rough Trade unfolded promotional poster, measuring a huge
38" x 26". Superb black & white shot of the band taken in
Montmartre, Paris, the poster was used for promotion at the
time of the Meat Is Murder album release in early 1985. The
item has never been folded or displayed and has remained in
storage for 32 years! This is only the second one we've ever
seen and, needless to say, framed would look superb)

ROUGH TRADE issue CD singles, featuring full artwork for four
singles across one sheet measuring 18" x 25". Of particular note
is the inclusion of the Headmaster Ritual artwork which used an
image of Viv Nicholson without her consent resulting in the single
being hastily withdrawn [all copies were subsequently
destroyed]. This item has never been displayed and, asidefrom a
very small quarter inch tear to one side, is in stunning condition.
Needless to say this is an incredible raritythat would take pride of

THE SMITHS The Queen Is Dead Cassette Artwork (Stunning 1986
UK unfolded uncut card printer proof for the original Rough Trade
cassette album, front and reverse sleeve with registration and
proofing bars. Measuring 9" X 10" [with each album image measuring
9" x 4"], there is just some slight wear to bottom edge. Also included
is an original, unplayed copy of the Dolby system 'chromdioxid'
cassette album, this is the dark green edition with green paper labels,
peach case and is 'new old stock'. It's a great, one-of-a-kind package
that we challenge you to find anywhere else!)

THE SMITHS This Charming Man (Genuine, super hard to find,
1992 UK WEA promotional only instore poster. A superb poster,
this measures 16.5" x 23". In better than good condition, free of
pinholes or sellotape, but with a tear to the mid of the right edge
and a fold and small tear to the lower left corner. This is the only
one of this poster we have found in months, despite the flaws,
which would be near invisible with professional mounting and
framing, for which this is the perfect size)

maligned Twinkle cover 'Golden Lights' as the additional track on the

the entire Billy Fury cover star image and text are all printed in blue, we can find no
documentation regarding this proposed blue colour [finished sleeves
were printed in yellow], making this a possibly unique Smiths artefact!

paper overlay and front leaf, measuring a huge 30" x 20.5" and are
accompanied by two 25" x 15" black card proof inner sleeves. All

THE SMITHS Strangeways Here We Come (Rare 1987 UK set of
16 proof lyric sheets for the album. The lyrics on these A4
facsimile sheets were used as reference by Rough Trade, the set
comes with a photo-copied typed note from Jo Slee to Caryn
Gough dated 07.05.87 detailing planned sleeve production [it
notes how the LP will now no longer feature cover star Harvey
Keitel and will be a single pocket sleeve rather than gatefold!].
The typed lyrics have hand-annotated corrections and there are
also three folded sheets with images of cover star Richard
Davalos. The sixteen sheets are housed within a stickered
'ROUGH106' PVC folder - it's an incredible insight into the
creative process and would make a super cool addition to any
Smiths/Morrissey collection)
