The Chants were a Liverpool vocal group who, after Brian Epstein was overruled by John Lennon, got tohave The Beatles as their backing band for their Cavern debut in November 1962. The lead singer, Eddie Amoo, later went on to bigger success in The Real Thing in the seventies.
