THE BEATLES Abbey Road (Very Rare 1969 UK 16-track stereo LP on the one box logo Parlophone label, issued exclusively for Export to those countries for which Apple was not yet a registered legal entity, fully laminated picture sleeve with misaligned Apple on the back, partially covered by a gold 'Parlophone' sticker, meant to fully obscure the Apple logo. The laminate is the 'floating' variety that does not extend fully to the edge of the sleeve, as a consequence, there is a degreeoflight shelfwear& edge scuffing evident, with some laminate lift in places and minor creasing, but this does not affect the 'feel' of the piece too greatly. The vinyl remains in VG/VG+ condition, with a few obvious surface scuffs & some evidence of play, but nonetheless plays through without fault. A very acceptable, if not mint, copy of this rare version of a rare version of the classic album at an advantageous price! PPCS7088)

These were specifically made to be sold outside of the country and were never available in UK shops excepting as re-imports. The details in the run off area are all hand scratched with'H.T.M.' initials [standing for Harry T. Moss] for the mastering engineer. The sleeve laminate is of the 'floating' design, which leaves a small gap around the edge of the sleeve that is unlaminated. The centre of the label is also unusual in that it is a ringed 'rough' texture, which implied that it was actually not pressed at EMI itself. The sleeve shows minimal wear and the vinyl is Near Mint PCS7088)

This rare 1969 Brazilian 17-track vinyl LP is indeed in glorious Mono and comes housed in a unique wraparound paper picture sleeve with separate card insert, this version also has unique design Apple labels with Portuguese text. The thin delicate sleeve is in incredible Near Mint condition, the label has a pen annotation to one side and the vinyl also grades Near Mint. Please note that the record contains XEX matrices [like all UK Mono Beatles releases] and the medley on Side Two is banded unlike all other copies of this release that show no gaps/bands between tracks - it makes no difference to playback but an unsual detail to this variant. THE BEATLES Abbey Road (Original 1969 New Zealand Apple LP. This LP is unusual as many albums from this period were imported from Australia. This copy was pressed in New Zealand. Also the sleeve differs from most countries as it is front laminated only, not fully and it is a flipback style picture sleeve. The sleeve also omits 'Her Majesty' on the back.
