The vinyl is in beautiful unmarked condition with no signs of excessive play, the labels are clear & bright with minimal spindle marks, plays without flaw. Housed in the very scarce fully laminated picture sleeve which due to an inbalance in colour during the printing process gives the appearance of a large blood stain on the road - this flaw was quickly rectified and only a handful of these rarities made it into themarket! Sleeve is immaculate, complete with boxed 'Stereo' text, also different from the UK issue!)

THE BEATLES Abbey Road (Very Rare 1969 UK 16-track stereo LP on the one box logo Parlophone label, issued exclusively for Export to those countries for which Apple was not yet a registered legal entity, fully laminated picture sleeve with misaligned Apple on the back, partially covered by a gold 'Parlophone' sticker, meant to fully obscure the Apple logo. The laminate is the 'floating' variety that does not extend fully to the edge of the sleeve, as a consequence, there is a degreeoflight shelfwear& edge scuffing evident, with some laminate lift in places and minor creasing, but this does not affect the 'feel' of the piece too greatly. The vinyl remains in VG/VG+ condition, with a few obvious surface scuffs & some evidence of play, but nonetheless plays through without fault. A very acceptable, if not mint, copy of this rare version of a rare version of the classic album at an advantageous price! PPCS7088)

THE BEATLES Abbey Road (Very rare 1978 UK export only issue of the 1969 16-track LP pressed on Green Vinyl, with 'an EMI Recording' text on the light green labels & 'Her Majesty' credit, fully laminated picture sleeve. These were specifically made to be sold outside of the country and were never available in UK shops excepting as re-imports. The details in the run off area are all hand scratched with'H.T.M.' initials [standing for Harry T. Moss]for the mastering engineer. The sleeve laminate is of the 'floating' design, which leaves a small gap around the edge of the sleeve that is unlaminated. The centre of the label is also unusual in that it is a ringed 'rough' texture, which implied that it was actually not pressed at EMI itself. The sleeve shows minimal wear and the vinyl is Near Mint PCS7088)
