SHARON WHITBREAD AND FRED Spice Of Life (Extremely rare
1972 UK 12-track LP of unique sounding Psyche-Folk from the
Wild West [Ashburton in Devon], recorded by the teenage duo
with the help of Tony Waldron on Piano, Glenn Turner
[Wishbone Ash]on Guitar & brother Kim on Drums amongst
others, set against the Acoustic playing of 'Fred' [Anthony
Hext] and the wistful Buffy Sainte-Marie like vocals of Sharon.
Recorded onto two Revox tape machines at Swan Street
Studios in Torquay and selling pretty much exclusively in
Devon, this record has since become extremely hard to track
down. Luckily for you, we've found one. The front laminated
picture sleeve shows just a little shelfwear with some very
minor discolouration to the unlaminated back & the vinyl
remains in excellent condition with little sign of play. One of
the hardest Psyche-Folk albums to find, in lovely condition!
