MOTOR GHOST A Gold Chain Round Her Breast (Scarce 2007 UK strictly limited edition 6-track vinyl LP from the project of drummer / vocalist Alex Neilson and multi-instrumentalist Ben Reynolds. From the brooding opener through tracks of soaringelectricity to the beautifully fragile a capella rendition of the folk song 'Leaves Of Life', this album sees Alex & Ben exploring darkness and light and all shades in between. Alex' drumming provides much of the backbone of the album supporting and conversing with Ben's acoustic and electric guitars, loops and the call of the dumuk [a Greek horn]. Housed in the individually numbered screen-printed picture sleeve. Limited to just 300 Copies, the first 100 come with a Bonus 3" CD-R disc featuring 4-song solo vocal set that Alex performed at the Macbeth in London the day before the studio session and comes individually housed within a gatefold card sleeve with extensive liner notes in 6 miniature textured cards by Scottish folk singer Alasdair Roberts.
