HUNGER Strictly From Hunger (2010 Russian exclusive limited Vinyl Lovers edition 10-track LP pressed on heavyweight 180gram VIRGIN VINYL; Hunger! [originally from Portland, Oregon], were full-fledged members of the L.A. psych sceneof the late-sixties, and despite their opening for top-shelf acts like the Doors and The Strawberry Alarm Clock, their one and only album [released in 1968] did not make much of a splash at the time, and the band dissolved soon after its release. However, the album has since become one of the most collectible in its genre and upon listening one can see why.
