DOWNLINERS SECT The Sect (Debut Garage Rock 1964 UK
first press 14-track MONO LP on the blue & black Columbia
label with machine stamped matrices ending '1N/1N', one of
the first influential British R&B groups in line with The
Yardbirds, The Pretty Things & The Rolling Stones. Includes
the snarly 'Bloodhound' & the rip-snorting 'One Ugly Child'
with the liner notes alluding to an 'anonymous 'great'' who sat
in on that track with 'thanks due to Andrew Oldham for
loaning him to us'.The front laminated flipback picture sleeve
is graded Very Good, with secure flipbacks & no writing, and
displays some light general wear and a small tear on the
opening edge, a little discolouring on the back forgiveable
with age. Both the labels have a few minor spindle marks to
show it has been played a few times, whilst the vinyl is clean
& grades EX/EX- with the occasional light hairline or surface

DOWNLINERS SECT The Country Sect (Original 1965 UK 12-track
Mono LP on the Columbia Records black, silver & turqoise label,
housed in a front laminated flipback picture sleeve. The cover displays
just a little light general wear with very light creases in the laminate
and a small scuff to the top edge, intact flipbacks and minimal signs of
age to the non laminated back. The labels are both very clean with
only a couple of light spindle marks amd the vinyl has minimal signs

DOWNLINERS SECT All Night Worker (Scarce 1966 UK 7" vinyl
single with intact four prong centre, lovely garage/R&B take
on the Rufus Thomas song from the cult U.K. act, also includes
the equally ace He Was A Square, Columbia company die-cut
paper sleeve. This copy is in fantastic condition with no
spindle marks on the labels, the vinyl looks barely played and
