BRAIN LABEL Brain: The No. 1 German Rock Label (Rare 1976 German promotional white title label 10-track sampler LP, laminated gatefold 'not for sale' stamped picture sleeve. Whoah! Sourced from the private collection of a former Dutch EMI record executive this stunning compilation was intended to showcase the very best of cult Krautrock label Brain but, inexplicably, was never actually released - not sure why, as not only does it include material from the genre's 'big-hitters'; Neu, Guru Guru, Grobschnitt, Cluster, but with the inclusion of tracks by Hardcake Special, Novalis and Jane you get to hear some of the genre's lesser celebrated 'names'.
