THE BEATLES Revolver (2022 Japanese only Super Deluxe Limited Edition Five SHM-CD [Super High Material CD - playable on all CD players] box set, comprising the New Stereo Mix CD by Giles Martin and Sam Okell, two Session CDs of outtakes, rehearsals, demos and studio chat and the Original 1966 mono album CD. Plus a bonus CD EP with Paperback Writer and Rain in new stereo mixes & original 1966 mono. The SHM-CDs are packaged in individual cardboard with mini-plastic inner sleeves in an LP-sized foldout cover, includes a 100-page LP-sized hardback book, as well as its Japanese translation in a different 32-page book. All are packaged in the same Worldwide-version of the slipcase box. This is in a brand-new shop bought condition still in the original re-sealable bag with a obi sticker attached, and with a Japanese-written leaflet covering the back cover of the slipcase box. Also includes an exclusive bonus B2 sized rolled poster featuring the album artwork!)

The SHM-CD [Super High Material CD] format features enhanced audio quality through the use of a special polycarbonate plastic. Using a process developed by JVC and Universal Music Japan discovered through the joint companies' research into LCD display manufacturing, SHM-CDs feature improved transparency on the data side of the disc, allowing for more accurate reading of CD data by the CD player laser head. SHM-CD format CDs are fully compatible with standard CD players.
