Please Please Me - 1st [B] - Factory Sample

THE BEATLES Please Please Me (Very Rare early 1963 red label first pressing 7" vinyl single with intact four prong centre, 'Made In Gt. Britain' text and a 'Factory Sample' sticker on the Side 'A' label, also including Ask Me Why, issued in a Parlophone Company 'Type 1' die cut paper sleeve. The vinyl remains in Excellent condition, with just a few light cosmetic hairlines to show for its [almost] sixty years! This release was switched almost immediately to the black label design,dating this to one of the first issues from January that year, the Factory Sample sticker is added confirmation! A real Beatles collectable that comes highly recommended 45-R4983)

Type 1 sleeve. Blue, red, yellow and green multicolored sleeve designed in the late 50s to be used with the red label. Used from 1958 until 1963 with Parlophone series 45-R 4441 – 45-R 4988 including The Beatles singles 45-R 4949 “Love Me Do” and 45-R 4983 “Please Please Me”.
