BOB DYLAN The Cutting Edge 1965 – 1966: The Bootleg Series Vol.12: Collector’s Edition (Very rare 2015 US limited edition box set, including a staggering 379 tracks on 18 CDs, every single note recorded by Bob Dylan in the studio in 1965/1966, nine replica mono 45RPM 7" singles released during the time period along with a leopard skin printed spindle adapter, 180 page hardcover 11" square book, a strip of film cells from an original print of the 'Don’t Look Back' film. All housed within the12.5 x 12.5 x 4.5 inch hesian bound box with a hidden magnet seal. The outer box does show some light wear, a littlle corner scuffing and marks to one side [nothing excessive], the inner packaging and contents/discs are all in Mint condiiton. With Mint examples commanding over £1000 we have priced this copy to reflect the wear to the outer box. Please see below for a more detailed contents list)

Obtained directly from the legendary U.K. Music Journalist, Writer, TV Presenter, and performer's vast, personal music archive, the collection spans every era from Danny's storied career. From importing the latest hip West Coast psychedelic sounds in top London import record stores in the early '70s, to being a key figure in the London punk scene, and, not forgetting, co-creator of seminal Brit' Punk fanzine 'Sniffin' Glue'.

With subsequent years spent at the NME, a very long list of television work (presenting and writing) alongside a career in radio, it would be quicker to list who Danny hasn't interviewed than who he has! Provenance of any signed items in the collection is assured.

It's a great collection with many unique and collectable items, reflecting, not only Danny's long and varied career, but also his own deep passion for music.

- Book #2: 'Bob Dylan 1965-1966' Unreleased sessions from three LPs Bringing It All Back Home, Highway 61 Revisited and Blonde On Blonde. Large format CD digipak housing 18 x CDs with full track-listing. Total 379 tracks. 10" x 10" Hardcover 18 cardboard pages. See images above.

- Book #3: 'Bob Dylan 1965-1966' Background to recordings with track-listing and sessions dates. 9" x 9" Hardcover 72 pages.

- Nine 7" vinyl singles, Reproduction of 1965-67 worldwide releases complete with sleeves. See images above.

- Record Spindle: Leopard-skin printed spindle.

- Each physical component of the box (with the exception of the spindle) has a preceding sheet of glassine (or greaseproof) paper layered between one item and the next as each is removed. The sheets are printed with pictures and text previewing the content beneath. Excluding the Certificate of Authenticity there are a total of 5 sheets.
