This label varient has all the tracklisting in smaller bold text with 'Northern Songs, NCB' text above the artist name with the 'XEX.549' and 'p1965' text aligned, front laminated flipback picture sleeve manufactured by Garrod & Lofthouse with 'Patents Pending' text on the bottom flip & 'Emitex' inner PMC1255)

Tracklisting & More Information

The labels are matt finish with Parlophone logo in bold yellow & all text in silver. The perimeter print has 'The Gramophone Co' text with 'Sold In The UK' text across the centre of the label.

The matrix numbers are XEX 549-2 & XEX 550-2

The vinyl has retained a deep sheen on both sides as only well looked after vinyl can. with no evidence of play on the vinyl itself and just a few spindle mark on the labels. This copy was purchased from a fastidious collector who played the records a couple of times to record them only - it's a genuine one owner copy.

The Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve has the small outline mono logo on the front as only the first pressings did and also has the rare 'Patents Pending' credit on the back bottom flipback.
The sleeve colours are rich and the background, so often faded and yellowing, remains the light ivory colour as intended with NO discolouration! The flipbacks are all undamaged & the spine print is clear. There are two very small corner bumps as evidence of any wear.

This is a mouth-watering example, with no need to upgrade, investment grade!
