VELVET UNDERGROUND The Velvet Underground (Rare 1969 first issue 10-track STEREO LP, which features the uncensored shot of Lou holding a magazine on the front, a unique 'split-screen' photo on the reverse and Val Valentin engineer credit, front laminated flip-back picture sleeve. After the departure of John Cale this third album marked a real shift in style for the band with several acoustic songs and more direct songwriting throughout, leaving aside The Murder Mystery that is! Thesleeve shows some notable general wear with some laminate rippling along the edges but remains intact, the vinyl does show some visible scuffs/hairlines to show play throughout its fifty-plus years - this is a hard-to-find record and this copy remains a very acceptable example CS8108)
