Tracklisting & More Information

The band released a single for Phillips in 1968 (Tobacco Ash Sunday/How Do You Feel) before releasing this, their only LP in 1969. A final single followed soon after, before the band split in 1969.

This LP is now a highly-sought rarity, going for almost a thousand pounds in Mint condition.

Though technically proto-prog, their work represented a marriage between the sounds of Procol Harum and early Deep Purple, with an equal nod to the heavy blues work of bands like Free & Killing Floor.

This copy is not mint but is far better than most that surface.

The Sleeve displays some minor wear mostly to the edges, with a small amount of laminate lift and edge & corner scuffing, and a small nick on the opening edge. However remains complete, intact & with very striking, unfaded artwork.

The sleeve is a front laminated gatefold design, with tracklisting, band info & the lyrics to two songs inside. There is no writing on the cover or any splits at the join of the gatefold.

If you decide to frame this in an Art Vinyl frame, most of these areas of scuffing won't even show, so this is a very acceptable sleeve indeed.

The labels are the standard silver print on black Philips design of the period & are clean & bright with just a few trace spindlemarks to show for the past fifty years.

The vinyl easily achieves an Excellent grade, with just a few very light cosmic hairlines & scuffs, otherwise really nice.

We have professionally cleaned and play tested, and can confirm the sound quality is fantastic, even during the silent period between songs there is just the normal sound of vinyl with maybe the odd light pop you expect to hear.

All in all a really nice example of this rare album, with vinyl worthy of repeated play & a sleeve that could be framed up nicely to display its gory details.
