THE SEARCHERS Hearts In Their Eyes - Celebrating 50 Years Of Harmony & Jangle (Sealed 2012 UK 120-track 4-CD set, compiling all the hits cut for Pye Records between 1963 & 1967, including every A & B-side plus early demos, live recordings, interviews, rare singles, alternate takes & wholly unreleased songs - kicks off with live tracks from 1963 from Liverpool's Iron Door Club (including 'Sweets for My Sweet') & Hamburg's Star Club, & ends with more recent live cuts from the current Searchers, which still includes John McNally & Frank Allen. Comes housed in a nice digibook complete with a 64-page booklet with liner notes from Bob Stanley & Jon Savage, plus written recollections from surviving band members including photos, memorabilia & picture sleeve reproductions. Factory sealed from new & a real treat for the fans!)
