THE BEATLES Beatles For Sale (Archive Quality 1964 UK first press 14-track mono vinyl LP on the black & yellow Parlophone label with 'Parlophone Co' perimeter label text, 'Sold in UK' & 'Recording First Published' print, both matrices end with -3N confirming this to be one of the earliest pressings. This copy comes in a front laminated internal pocket flipback gatefold sleeve with a pinched spine, small outline 'mono' on the front and 'Use Emitex' inner. The Labels :-

Classic black & yellow Parlophone design with silver text, "The Parlophone Co Ltd" perimeter text, "Sold In The UK Subject to..." & "Recording First Published 1964" label text. The Parlophone logo is striking yellow & the silver tracklisting text gleams with no significant blemishes, and just a couple of very light spindle marks.

Sleeve :-

The sleeve on this album has always been one that we see with all kinds of issues, and prone to damage easily....not with this copy!

The fully laminated gatefold picture sleeve with outline mono logo on the front & pinched spine is nothing short of stunning. The colours are deep & rich, the laminate is clean with no lift or damage. Although the front of the sleeve is prone to excessive creasing, this remains in an amazing condition. The spine is undamaged, the pinched ends remain intact with the text clearly readable & the inside diagonal cut flipbacks secure.

Vinyl : -

The labels have just a couple of very light marks around the spindle hole, but clearly seen little play.

Housed in a crisp original "Use Emitex" inner bag, the condition of the vinyl is astonishing. Under a bright light there is very little evidence of play detectable. The vinyl appears to have been played a mere couple of times & great care was obviously taken as it appears as close to near mint condition as you're likely to find.

A real gem and first example in such amazing condition we have ever seen!
