THE BEATLES with TONY SHERIDAN Sweet Georgia Brown (Very Rare 1964 US first press wide centred 7" single on the yellow & white Atco label, with etched matrices in the run-outs reading 64C-7884-2/ 64C-7885-1. Also features 'Take Out Some Insurance On Me Baby' & comes complete with the original Atco company die-cut sleeve with "MFG. BY ATLANTIC RECORDING CORP., 1841 B'WAY, NEW YORK, N.Y." print at the bottom. The first pressing is confirmed via the label's b-side song title carryingNO songwriter's credit & the publishing credit for the b-side reads 'Earth, BMI'. We believe this to be a Plastic Products pressing from Memphis, Tennessee as there is no additional factory indentification logo in the run-out [MGM, Bloomfield & Monarch Records pressings are also highly sought after]. Atco was one of the few American labels that managed to get its hands on some of the early Beatles recordings owned by Polydor but unfortunately this record sold just as badly as the first Vee-Jay releases. This is the first stock copy we have ever come across. The vinyl remains in spectacular Excellent condition with barely any signs of play. We only have one!)
