THE DESPERATE BICYCLES The Medium Was Tedium (Rare 1977 UK 7" single, a cult DIY classic with the memorable line "it was easy, it was cheap – go and do it!" a massive wake-up call, kickstarting the whole of the do-it-yourself indie trend in Britain. Also features Don't Back The Front - plays the same two tracks on both sides for maximum cost-saving effect. The thin & light picture sleeve [VG] has a small tear at the top of the left side seam, plus some general edgewear and a little discolouration. The vinyl has a few light surface scuffs and a little spindle wear, but remains in excellent condition RR2)
