TYRANNOSAURUS REX A Beard Of Stars - Expanded Edition (2014 Japanese only promo sample issue of the limited edition 47-track digitally remastered Double SHM-CD [Super High Material CD - playable on all CD players], issued to radio stations andreviewers ahead of the actual release. Originally released in 1970, this edition has been expanded with six bonus recordings and a Twenty Seven track Bonus Disc, each disc has been promo stamped, with a mini replica LP style card picture sleeve reproducing the original, the bonus disc is within a seperate sleeve, replica lyric card insert, lyric booklet, information booklet and obi-strip UICY-76166/7)

The SHM-CD [Super High Material CD] format features enhanced audio quality through the use of a special polycarbonate plastic. Using a process developed by JVC and Universal Music Japan discovered through the joint companies' research into LCD display manufacturing, SHM-CDs feature improved transparency on the data side of the disc, allowing for more accurate reading of CD data by the CD player laser head. SHM-CD format CDs are fully compatible with standard CD players.
