RORY GALLAGHER Top Priority (Rare Test Pressing for the 1979 UK 9-track LP, Rory's final album for Chrysalis with his revised power trio, including 'Philby' featuring Rory playing a rare Coral electric sitar that he borrowed from Pete Townshend. The labels are numbered '1' & '2' in custom black on white & the matrix detail is machine stamped in the run-outs "CHR1235 A/1 & B/1". Obtained from the private collection of an ex-PR man for Chrysalis, these were pressed in a miniscule run purely to test the sonics & never intended for sale to the general public. The vinyl is super clean & Excellent with merely the lightest few paper scuffs to highlight play CHR1235)
