JETHRO TULL This Was (Very scarce 1968 Canadian first issue 10-track stereo LP, the debut from Anderson's hive of creativity, starting out life with the progressive blues rock phase on tracks like Cat's Squirrel & Dharma For One, plus the wellknown folk number Song For Jeffrey, not to mention the jazzy Serenade to a Cuckoo, gatefold picture sleeve. US originals were on the two tone steamboat label, so finding a Canadian original on a tri-colour label design was a turn up for the books. See 'more info' for condition details... RS6336)

Condition : -

The pasted gatefold sleeve is a heavy duty design complete with the period Reprise company inner. Under close inspection, there is a thin, barely noticeable, paper split in one of the bottom edges, which is pedantic. The sleeve is otherwise a clean, Excellent condition example with minimal wear to show for its 45+ years.

The heavyweight vinyl is clean & plays like a dream. Under a bright light, there are a few faint paper scuffs or light cosmetic blemishes visible here & there, but thanks to the high quality vinyl of the late sixties, none of these affect play.

This is a wonderful find, sure to please any Tull completist or even beginner.
