THE BEATLES A Collection Of Beatles Oldies (Rare 1966 South African first pressing 16-track stereo compilation LP with 'All Rights' label perimeter text, front laminated flipback picture sleeve with 'Record Pressed For Or By A Registered User' & 'Artone Press' text on the reverse. The sleeve on this copy shows some creasing to the laminate caused by shrinkage over the years. This has begun to split at the edges. The vinyl remains G/VG- condition with some minor surface scuffs, mostly cosmetic but there is a little background noise. Atlhough not mint this is still a very good example & collection filler copy PCSJ7016)

This curiosity has unique black & silver labels that are similar to the Black & Yellow UK varieties, but with a different Parlophone logo.
The sleeve also resembles the UK version but has a mid size 'STEREO' on the front and 'Record Pressed for or by a Registered User' and 'Artone' credit on the back.

Not mint, no, but a very acceptable copy of this extrememly rare first South African pressing at an advantageous price.
