THE BEATLES The Beatles (Rare 1969 Irish (?) issue 30-track double stereo LP on the 'One Box' black & silver Parlophone label, complete with UK manufactured and printed black inner sleeves, large fold out lyric poster & four glossy 8" x11" high quality colour photoprints in a fully laminated, top opening, individually numbered [0538121] internal flipback gatefold sleeve.
The sleeve has some light signs of age with a few creases in the laminate & a little light wear but is otherwise in excellent condition. Both vinyl discs show some spindle marks around the centre hole and several light surface scuffs and hairlines but still play through without fault. A very uncommon variant that has no mention of the country of origin anywhere on the label. This has led to the album being described variously as 'Export' or coming from increasingly exotic countries around the globe. I would imagine the truth to be hidden in the mists of time but this does experience characteristics of a CBS press of Ireland with first -1 matrix plates on all four sides & UK printed sleeve & extras, so that's what I'm plumping for until anyone who knows better can correct me. A curious and mysterious item that certainly is NOT 'Export' or a contract pressing in very acceptable, if not mint, condition PCS7067-8)
