Sleeve:

The laminated gatefold picture sleeve is often found in poor condition due to its fragile construction. This copy is Excellent with bright clear panels, secure internal flipbacks and strong pinched/tapered spine still standing proud with all text clearly legible. There are a couple of small area of laminate 'rippling' and minor corner bumps. Much, much better than those we usually see and easily achieveing an Excellent grade.

Vinyl:

There is some spindle wear evident, indicating this copy did see some turntable action. However, aside from a couple of paper scuffs/hairlines the playing surface is wonderfully clean sixty-one years on! There is a little low-level background noise in the quieter places.

Other:

This first issue stereo pressing is often cited as one of the best early Beatles stereo recordings - it certainly packs a punch and the channel seperation doesn't seem to be as pronounced as other Beatles recordings from this period.
