FREE Tons Of Sobs (Very rare 1969 UK first pressing 10-track stereo vinyl LP on the pink Island label with orange and black 'eye' logo, matte gatefold picture sleeve. The classic debut album from this highly influential band is extremely difficult to find as a first pressing - most copies that turn up for sale are on the pink rimed 'palm tree' label. The sleeve has some edgewear to show for its vintage while the vinyl shows only minor scuffs to show careful play ILPS9089)

The labels are rough textured pink Island design with black and orange 'eye' logo. There are minimal spindle marks on the labels.

The forty year old vinyl is in remarkable VG-/VG condition. It exhibits just a few light hairline cosmetic surface marks & nothing excessive that would cause a jump, skip or pop. Side two has a 'mottling' effect over a section but has no effect on play and still sounds superb. It looks to have been played very few times at all.

Side One - ILPS9089 A2
Side Two - ILPS9089 B2

The EJ Day manufactured matte gatefold picture sleeve is showing just a few signs of age with some minor shelfwear and corner scuffing, overall very good condition for a nearly forty year old matte sleeve. The edges haven't split, there are no tears and the entire sleeve is free from writing.

A respectable copy at a great price!
