THE BEATLES Hey Jude (Rare 1968 UK 7" single, also featuring the electric version of Revolution, with 'Sold In The UK' text across the four prong centre, Apple company die-cut paper sleeve. During the peak of Beatlemania, EMI were forced to outsource pressing of some singles just to meet demand. These were mainly to Oriole, CBS, Decca & Pye, sometimes Philips. This is a Pye sub-contracted press with rounded edge and without stamper letters at three o'clock in the run out. There area number of visible hairlines & scuffs to the surface of the disc but it still remains in acceptable VG/VG+ condition. Pye issues of this single remain elusive, so this is still a nice collection filler at an advantageous price R5722)
