THE BEATLES With The Beatles (1963 UK second press 14-track STEREO LP with 'Recording First Published' label text, 'Dominion Belinda' credit for 'Money' and large 'stereo' front laminated Garrod & Lofthouse rounded edge flipback picture sleeve with 'Patents Pending' text on the bottom flip. This is a transitional issue where the 'Gotta' misprint has been corrected on the label but not on the back of the sleeve, which is identical to the first issue PCS3045)

Sleeve:

The sleeve has the large block 'stereo' on the front & retains the 'Gotta' misprint on the back, making this technically a first issue sleeve.
As regards wear, there is just a little creasing to the laminate near the opening & minimal general shelfwear.
The rounded ending flipbacks are secure & free from wear & the spine is still clearly readable.
There is just a little age discolouration to the unlaminated back, but nothing to write home about.
All in all, an excellent condition sleeve.

Vinyl:

The labels betray it as a second issue, with the 'Gotta' misprint corrected to 'Got To' & the credit for 'Money' corrected to 'Dominion Belinda' although the incorrect 'NCB' still remains.
There is some evidence of play with some spindle marks around the centre hole, although certainly nothing excessive. There are a few light surface hairlines visible upon close inspection but these are to all accounts inaudible, thanks to the quality pressing of these early LPs. Upon play testing, all sonics were clear & rich, with surface noise a minimum. There was a very small hint of burring to the vocals at the end of the side, but once again you would need to strain to hear it.
Visually this would grade EX- but sonically it is an easy EX.

A wonderful copy of this early second pressing with first issue sleeve.
