Sgt. Pepper's - 1st

THE BEATLES Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Rare 1967 French first issue 13-track stereo LP on the black & yellow Parlophone label, pressed by Pathé Marconi. The fully laminated, internal flipback, gatefold picture sleeve & sheet of cut-outs are of German manufacture & printing, with a stereo Pathé Marconi circular gold sticker on the front. Unusually, the labels also list the running times of the tracks & the vinyl sides are banded between songs, unlike the first UK release. The cover has no tears or writing & the laminate is clean across all panels, with just some natural weathering having been pressed nearly half a century ago. The vinyl grades VG+/EX- & there are some faint paper hairlines, the odd light spot of axial wear & nothing that upsets play. The vinyl has a deep sheen both sides with barely a mark by the spindle holes to show play. Hard to find! PCS7027)
