Open

JULIE DRISCOLL, BRIAN AUGER & THE TRINITY Open (Incredibly rare 1967 Italian only 10-track mono LP, featuring an exclusive version of 'Black Cat' recorded live in Milan & sung in Italian as 'Gatto Nero', wonderful unique fully laminated thick card pasted picture sleeve. Amazingly for an album of this age from Southern Europe, this copy has been extremely well looked after & must once have been a very treasured possession. There are some spindle marks around the centre hole to supportthis assumption, but the vinyl still looks fresh & inviting. This is a very solid sixties press & the surface of the vinyl beggars belief, with just a couple of very light cosmetic surface marks visible upon extremely close inspection & no material wear to speak of. It was obviously played on very good equipment. The sleeve matches the vinyl with striking colours, just a little extremely light shelfwear & a tiny tiny bit of corner scuffing. There is just a little age yellowing visible on the white, back but this just serves to emphasise how well the rest of this album has been looked after over forty years. This really is a spectacular find & deserves a new home where it once again will be treasured & hold pride of place in a collection LIR22.014)
