THE BEATLES Manchester Evening News (Original edition of the December 9, 1980 UK newspaper breaking the news of the death of John Lennon with the front page headline 'Beatle Lennon Shot Dead' and a full-page illustrated report on the shooting, with reactions from Paul McCartney and John's former wife Cynthia. The newspaper is a 'broadsheet' measuring 16½" x 23". It remains in remarkably good condition with only light browning and a crease across the centre where the paper was folded into four - there are no rips, tears or marks!)
