Strawberry Fields Forever - 1st

THE BEATLES Strawberry Fields Forever (1967 US wide centred 7" vinyl single, also including Penny Lane, Capitol company die cut paper sleeve. This was one of the first pressings of the single, as the time credit for Penny Lane is 3:00, not the 2:57 it actually runs for. The reason for this is that Capitol had already pressed labels based on Mix 11, which has the Trumpet solo ending, before being sent a corrected Mix 14 without the trumpet ending. That is why the promos for this singlehave the trumpet ending [Mix 11], where the regular issues do not [Mix 14]. The vinyl on this copy is in great condition with just a couple of light surface marks to show for its forty years)
