ELVIS COSTELLO & THE ATTRACTIONS Live At Hollywood High (2010 Japanese exclusive limited edition 20-track SHM-CD [Super High Material CD - playable on all CD players] album, recorded live at Hollywood High School, Los Angeles on 4th June 1978: 3 tracks ['Accidents Will Happen', 'Alison' and 'Watching The Detectives'] were originally released in 1979 on an EP which came free with initial copies of the 'Armed Forces' LP - the remaining 17 tracks are recordings from the same show, 11 of which are previously unreleased; presented in mini LP-style card picture sleeve with fold-out mini poster, Japanese/English lyric sheet, individually numbered card insert, empty 3" flipback card sleeve [replicating the original EP sleeve] + obi strip)

The SHM-CD [Super High Material CD] format features enhanced audio quality through the use of a special polycarbonate plastic. Using a process developed by JVC and Universal Japan discovered through the joint companies' research into LCD display manufacturing, SHM-CDs feature improved transparency on the data side of the disc, allowing for more accurate reading of CD data by the CD player laser head. SHM-CD format CDs are fully compatible with standard CD players.
